Mortal Instruments TV Show?!

In-case you weren't aware there has been plenty of buzz lately regarding the idea of transforming Cassandra Clare's successful book series The Mortal Instruments into a television series. Now I know what everyone is thinking.. What about the movies?! However, as we all know due to poor script writing that totally didn't represent the book at all and the movie crashing at the box office, the potential of a squeal is highly unlikely.

Sources have confirmed that the series has the green light to start production and is expected to commence in 2015. Episodes will run for an hour, starting with the very first book City of Bones.

Also don't expect to see any of the past cast members either, a whole new cast is basically guaranteed to be seen in this TV series. This is done for many reasons but mainly for to give the TV series a fresh look compared to the movie and reinforce that the two are completely separate from each other.

Who's your dream cast? My ideal actor for Jace is Austin Butler, seriously just look at him doesn't he scream Jace Wayland to you?

For more updates about the series check out TMI Source their great about delivering fans with up to date information.
